[NCOG] Apple Pressing and Cider Making Oct 25th

Postby MarkEvens » Tue Oct 13, 2015 6:16 pm

Location: Maryport on Sunday 25th October from 11am.
The location is Wild & Fruitful's new premises (see directions below). Please book places on WebCollect at https://webcollect.org.uk/ncog/event/ju ... t-25-10-15. Although there is no charge, if you don't book then we don't know to contact you if plans change.
The purpose of the event is twofold:
(1) Members can bring along their own apples (or those they have scrumped) to juice and then take the juice away with them in suitable containers.
(2) Members of the cider-making subgroup can juice the apples and put them to ferment into cider. Novice cider-makers will receive help and guidance in doing this. The cider will be fermented at Wild & Fruitful - there will be subsequent events to rack and package it.
Non-members, please join before attending - which can be done on WebCollect (don't forget the joining fee of £5 as well as the subscription).
Please bring clean apples!
Location: Unit 22c, Solway Trading Estate, Maryport, CA15 8NF
Directions: Just as you leave Maryport travelling south on the A596, turn left into the trading estate (just before West Coast Indoor Karting on the right). Take the second right and the unit is clearly marked on the left.
