Lorton Village apple day - October 5th 2025

Apple pressing and stalls at the village school in Lorton, Sunday October 5th. 10am - 1pm.

A fun day out for adults and kids alike. We will be pressing for the public (and members). Among the planned attractions are:

Drop-in print workshops with especially made apple and tree print blocks
Apple-themed bakes (apple cake, strudel, pies/turnovers)
Making and selling felt apple decorations
Information about a mapping project and an oral history on fruit growing (picking and eating) orchards and hedgerows
Traditional apple games
